Introducing the WIC Shopper Kiosk!
The WIC Shopper Kiosk aims to help WIC shoppers navigate the program and make informed food choices by providing information on WIC-eligible products. The touchscreen interface makes finding WIC items simple and convenient. The kiosk features a barcode scanner, a QR Code for the myWIC app, and offers recipes using WIC-approved foods to help shoppers find new ways to prepare meals and provide. The on-site resource for WIC participants provides information and tools to fully utilize their WIC benefits.
To make things as convenient as possible for their customers, the locations of the WIC Shopper Kiosk vary from store to store. You will typically find the kiosk located near the frozen fruits and vegetables or cheese and yogurt sections.
Familiarize yourself with the WIC Shopper Kiosk's key features and functionalities. The kiosk is self-contained and does not operate on store WIFI. Vendors should not unplug, move, or troubleshoot kiosks. Take note of any error messages or common problems that shoppers may encounter. Share feedback to improve the WIC shopping experience.
